This blend combines Souson, Caino Tinto, and Brancellao grapes from an ancient vineyard nestled in the Ribeiro hills of northwestern Spain, just a stone's throw from the Atlantic coast. Iria's approach embraces natural processes with the grapes being hand destemmed and foot crushed, then matured in oversized concrete vats for a period of four months. The wine is bottled unfiltered with only a minimal amount of sulfur added. It displays vibrant red fruit flavors and a smokey crushed rock essence, culminating in a silky, tantalizing finish. It can be delightfully served slightly chilled, although it's equally enjoyable at room temperature.
