Cascahuin - "55-25" Anejo Tequila (750ml)

Cascahuín Special Edition 55-25 is a commemorative 70th anniversary release from NOM 1123, crafted to honor the distillery’s legacy from 1955–2025. Bottled at 88 Proof (44% ABV), this limited allocation showcases a meticulous blend of 90% tequila aged for 12 months in ex-sherry casks and 10% Cascahuín 48 Añejo, resulting in a deeply layered and refined expression.

Made from 100% Blue Weber agave harvested in 2017, the agaves are slow-cooked for 72 hours in traditional stone ovens before roller mill extraction and open-air fermentation. The extended aging in sherry-seasoned barrels lends remarkable depth and texture, creating a rich, buttery palate with notes of buttered toffee, dark chocolate, roasted agave, dried stone fruit, baking spice, and elegant oxidative sherry character. Beneath the richness lies Cascahuín’s unmistakable earthy minerality and vibrant structure, culminating in a complex, velvety finish worthy of the distillery’s landmark anniversary.
