From a single parcel which was planted in 1953, the Pinot Noir grapes are hand-harvested in mid-September, undergoes pre-fermentation cold soak maceration with 20% whole bunches followed by fermentation for three weeks in stainless steel tanks with moderate pigeages. Aged in 100% oak for 10 months, average age 3-5 years.
