Misturado is a blend that's half Zinfandel, a third Palomino, and a fifth Alicante Bouschet. The Palomino and Zinfandel are hand-picked from the Lopez Vineyard in San Bernardino, while the Alicante is sourced from the Galleano Home Vineyard in Jurupa Valley. Both vineyards grow own-rooted vines, planted back in 1912, and they're dry farmed without any sprays or treatments. The grapes are then hand-harvested and co-fermented, whole cluster, in neutral open-top fermenters, before they're aged in a big ol' 1000L foudre. It's all bottled up without any fining, filtering, or additional sulfur.
