Elisa Rombone - "Ada Nada" Barbaresco 2018 (750ml)

This wine, named after one of Anna Lisa and Elvio's daughters, hails from the ancient vines nestled in the esteemed Rombone cru in Treiso. These venerable Nebbiolo vines, planted back in 1947, bask on south-facing slopes at an elevation of 300 meters. The terrain bestows low yields, resulting in a wine of captivating concentration.

The winemaking process is a testament to tradition and precision. The grapes undergo a maceration period of about 10 days in stainless steel, followed by a maturation period of 18–20 months within expansive 30-hl barrels. This cuvée strikes a delicate balance – it possesses the vivacity of the Valeirano, yet it’s complemented by a robust body and density. The tannins, profound and prominent, are seamlessly enveloped, yielding a wine that stands as a harmonious symphony of depth, structure, and elegance.
