The Ponson family, with five generations in winemaking, is led by brothers Maxime and Camille since their father Pascal's passing in 2018. Their vineyards in Coulommes-La-Montagne, near Reims, are organically cultivated and hold premier cru status. Their "Le Petite Montagne" Champagne, a blend of 40% Pinot Meunier, 25% Pinot Noir, and 35% Chardonnay from these vineyards, offers a complex profile with white peach, baked bread, earthy notes, and a smoky finish. This deep, full-bodied Champagne is well-balanced, ideal for serving chilled with cheese and appetizers.
