Domaine de la Bastide - "Figue Rouge" Cotes du Rhone 2022 (750ml)

Colored a deep purple, it boasts dark, looming fruits, sarsaparilla, and damp earth. The bouquet carries through to the palate, supported by balanced, lively acidity and smooth tannins, and maintains a medium body; dry.

Composed of a blend of Syrah, Carignan, and Grenache from 38-year-old vines, all the Grenache is hand-harvested. The wine is fermented in tanks for 18 days, with twice-daily pump-over for optimal color extraction and balanced tannins, and aged for 6 months in the tank.
