Anarkowine - Chile Pais 2021 (750ml)

Claudio Sepulveda has been deeply involved in agro-political movements in Chile for many years, dedicating his efforts across all regions, both in farming and through conducting workshops for budding organic producers. He initiated the Anarko project as a means to assist small growers who have historically faced exploitation from massive wine enterprises. These giants offer such meager returns for grapes that numerous farmers have resorted to uprooting their vineyards in favor of other monocrops that might bring in slightly more revenue. Claudio is stepping in by buying these grapes at prices that genuinely sustain the farmers, and he's crafting wines primarily from heritage varietals, predominantly País and Moscatel de Alejandría, which have been overlooked in the modern era.

The País is a vibrant, light red. This wine is a true testament to its origin, offering bright cherry undertones accompanied by moderate tannins.
