Nikka From the Barrel “Extra Marriage” (Limited Edition) was created to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the iconic From the Barrel release. This special expression features an extended “marriage” period—up to six months in oak—resulting in greater depth, harmony, and a notably longer finish.

Bottled at a robust 51.4% ABV, the whisky showcases Nikka’s signature blending expertise, combining over 100 different batches of carefully selected malt and grain whiskies. Following blending, the spirit is returned to used casks for additional aging, allowing the components to fully integrate.

This extended marriage process brings enhanced richness and balance, delivering a whisky that is both powerful and refined, with a smooth, cohesive character and lingering complexity.
