The grapes for this Manzanilla come from Pago Miraflores in Sanlucar de Barrameda very close to the Atlantic.
SOIL: Albariza or a white chalky soil. When wet it sheds water to deeper soils and as it dries it "clods" creating a protective layer that slows the evaporation of water from below.
VITICULTURE: The vines are bush pruned in the traditional method.VINIFICATIONThe wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks in Sanlucar.
AGING: The wine undergoes biological aging under veil of flor for over 5 years in Sanlucar de Barrameda. There are 6 criaderas + the Solera. The solera is the most famous Manzanilla solera called Misericordia with a very long and rich history.
NOTES: Very dry, crisp and fresh with a slightly salty finish.
