Flavio Roddolo Dolcetto de Alba 750ml

Quite a full-bodied wine, this Dolcetto will work with a range of meat and robust vegetable dishes. We enjoyed it with lamb chops and a green salsa, the salsa picking up the nuances of licorice in the wine. It would also work with lamb tagine, kebabs, grilled Portobello mushrooms with garlic and parsley or some aged Pecorino cheese.

Flavio Roddolo is an artisan wine producer whose vineyards are located near the town of Monforte in Piedmont. He cultivates his vineyards according to biodynamic principles. The vines for this Dolcetto wine range from 10 to 70 years old. The wine was fermented in stainless steel and did not receive any oak treatment.
