The Domaine Chamonard comes from 100% Gamay grapes, cultivated in one of the largest Beaujolais vineyards of Morgon. Known for their earthy and masculine expressions, the Chamonard has plenty of power while not being overpowering. There is a balance and elegance in this wine that is seldom seen in a Beaujolais, and a serious nature which can be both drunk early or can cellar for quite a few years.
