Anthony Thevenet is a young and promising producer from Ville-Morgon who owns 3ha of vines. Raised near his grandfather's vineyards in Morgon, Anthony always dreamed about making his owns wines.
He worked for 7 years with Georges Descombes. Throught this experience, he learnt a lot about natural vinification. He understood the importance of the respect of Nature in the vineyard and in the cellar.
Anthony worked then for Jean Foillard, antoher great natural wine producer in Beaujolais.
In 2012, he took over the 2.11 ha of his grandfather in Morgon. One of the parcel is 100 years old vines of Gamay
In November 2014, he took over 1 more ha of morgon in Cote de Py.
The sandy and rocky soil of Morgon are well know to provide structure to the gamay variety in the Beaujolais.
